Key Responsibilities

  • Property Operations: Direct daily operations, preventive maintenance schedules, and upkeep for all physical structures, grounds, HVAC, smart home technology (Crestron/Lutron), pool/spa systems, and security protocols.
  • Staff Leadership: Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise full-time domestic staff (housekeepers, estate maintenance, grounds crew) and seasonal personnel to maintain 7-star service standards.
  • Project & Vendor Management: Source, vet, and oversee external contractors, architects, and specialty service providers for ongoing estate enhancements and routine servicing; negotiate scope and contracts.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage estate operational budgets, approve invoices, process monthly expense reports, and maintain inventory systems for household supplies, fine art, wine, and high-value assets.
  • Event & Guest Support: Coordinate logistics for private events, dinner parties, and seasonal travel protocols, partnering closely with personal assistants and culinary staff.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience as an Estate Manager or House Manager for high-net-worth individuals or large private estates.
  • Extensive network of top-tier Los Angeles luxury estate vendors and contractors.
  • Technical fluency with modern smart home automation, security infrastructure, and property management platforms.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and conflict-resolution abilities with absolute discretion and non-disclosure standards.
  • Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and background check clearing.
