Raised in Sun Valley, Idaho, James spent his youth on the slopes and in the mountains, developing a drive and adaptability that would eventually define his professional career. Throughout his career, he earned a reputation for discretion, loyalty, professionalism, and an unmatched understanding of how successful private households truly operate behind the scenes.
Beginning his career in Aspen, Colorado in 1992 and later relocating to Miami, Chris spent decades managing luxury residences, ranch properties, private aircraft, yachts, vehicle collections, and large household staffs. Having remained with one private family for over 21 years, he developed a deep understanding of the trust, consistency, and attention to detail required to maintain long-term relationships within the private service industry.
What sets Chris apart is that he has personally worked in nearly every aspect of estate and household management — from managing large teams and coordinating complex logistics to handling hands-on day-to-day responsibilities. He understands both the expectations of principals and the realities faced by estate managers, personal assistants, housekeepers, domestic staff, chauffeurs, and service professionals.
